A Little About Me
My Journey: From Hospitality to Web Development
My path into IT was anything but typical. In my early years, I studied to be a programmer, but life took a different turn, and I ended up spending over 20 years in the restaurant industry. During that time, I worked as a bartender, a waiter, and a restaurant manager. This experience taught me how to truly understand people, find common ground, and listen to their needs to find the best possible solutions.
About 8 years ago, I decided to return to what had always fascinated me—IT and computers. I chose web development as my focus. I started with Tilda but eventually moved to WordPress, as the platform offers significantly more power, flexibility, and freedom to bring various ideas to life.
For over 5 years now, I’ve been a professional WordPress developer, working with clients from all over the globe. In this time, I’ve launched dozens of projects: from simple landing pages and online stores to complex, multi-page, multilingual websites and custom solutions for various business needs.
About the LinkForSocial Project
I love to experiment, try new things, and build useful tools. LinkForSocial is my personal passion project. You could call it a ‘project for the soul,’ where I get to bring my own ideas and visions to life.
I wanted to create something genuinely helpful for people using the skill I know best—web development. That’s how LinkForSocial was born. I’ve built free services here that help solve everyday tasks for social media management and online work.
A Bit About My Life & Style
I live and work in Dnipro, Ukraine. Long ago, I gave up smoking and alcohol, and I don’t eat meat or fish. I strive to maintain a healthy and conscious lifestyle.
In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga, swimming, and cycling. In the winter, I’m particularly fond of cold-water swimming—diving into an ice hole is a perfect way for me to recharge, stay healthy, and boost my immune system.
I also regularly donate blood plasma for charity, and all the proceeds from these donations go toward helping children. For me, it’s just another way to do something kind and give back to those in need.
Even though I spent many years in the hospitality industry, I never picked up a coffee habit. Tea has been my favorite drink since childhood, and it still is today. There’s nothing I enjoy more than brewing a delicious cup of high-quality tea and sipping it slowly while working on new projects.
